It is a great pleasure for me to extend a special welcome to all of you who will attend the 1O~ World Congress of Consuls being held in the Principality of Monaco this coming November during the 3Oth FICAC anniversary’s year.

Our President and the Members of our Board were delighted to hear that Monaco has been designated to host the upcoming World Congress of Honarary Consuls and Consulate Associations which will take place next 11, 12 and 13 November.

It is an honor to have this opportunity to share my experience as a Senior Member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the United States House of Representatives with this distinguished gathering of consuls—the men and women who stand on the frontlines of international relations.

The World Federation of Consuls has United Nations recognition as an NGO with ECOSOC status. It is recognised as an NGO by the Organisation of American States. It is also recognised as an NGO at the European Union.
